DVD Flick
is an opensource program to create DVDs and VCDs. From all of the
programs that I've tested, this is the most complete and easy
to use.
With this program you can add one or more video files, depending on the
file size and the media (CD, DVD, etc.). You can also add different
audio tracks and subtitles automatically. Adding subtitles with this
program is a good idea since you can later choose to watch the video
with or without subtitles and even select which subtitle from those you
inserted.
The program does everything for you, it converts the audio and video
tracks and when finished it records everything automatically on a DVD.
Or, if you prefer it can create an ISO file so you can later burn on to
a DVD in case your computer doesn't have a DVD burner.
A simple burning is extremely easy, just follow three steps:
- Click on "Add title";
- Click on "Edit titles" if you want to add subtitles or different audio tracks;
- When done just press "Create DVD".
But, if you want to modify more settings (chapters, audio coding, etc.)
you are also able to do so. Watch the video for a complete tour:
It is important to note that the entire process is quite lengthy and
because of the conversion tasks it can take up quite a bit of resources
from your computer. Thus, as a tip leave the program running while you
sleep.
Enjoy!
