Spielberg prepares to take to the movies another world classic.
Negotiations for this movie began years ago and now DreamWorks, from the director Steven Spielberg, starts preparing to bring Tintin once again to the screens. Tintin is a comic book character that works as a reporter and was created by Georges Remi, or also known as Hergé. Created in 1929, Tintin has been around the world and the universe (the second picture depicts the episode where he goes to the moon). The character, while writing his articles, always gets himself caught in a mystery he has to solve. What happens at the end? Tintin always does something at the end to save the day! The adventures of Tintin has already gone to the televisions. Between 1958 and 1962, 104 animated episodes were created, each 5 minutes long. The TV series came in 1991 with 39 episodes that lasted 30 minutes each. Now Spielberg has convinced Moulinsart, the company that holds Tintin's copyright, to create the movie.
There are still not many certainties... Will it be an animated movie or with real actors? Will it tell the story of one episode or will an adaptation be made? Starting now, the movie is expected to be launched only in 2009. We will wait for more details
