With his youngest child sick, the actor abandons the recording set.
Hollywood actor Johnny Depp (played the part of Captain Jack Sparrow, from the hit Pirates of the Caribbean) left the filming set of the movie Sweeney Todd (no title yet for Portuguese) to give total assistance to his seven year-old daughter, Lily-Rose (his daughter with the French actress Vanessa Paradis, his wife), who was nine days at a London hospital, recovering from a serious illness not known to the media. Sweeney Todd is the new movie from the Director Tim Burton, with whom Depp has an extensive history, having played many parts of the director's movies such as: Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride (his voice) and Edward Scissorhands (his first big role in the movie business), among others. The movie shall be released for the American audience in December 2007 and there is no release date yet for Brazil.
